Digitaria?

This is definitely a Digitaria species. With the local species Digiteria brownii the bracts in which the seed sits are hairy while with the exotic D. sanguinalis the bracts (lemna +glume) are hairless. As the name suggests this grass will die back when the weather gets cold so is probably not a big problem in our area unless we are unsuccessful in drawing a 1.5 degree limit on Climate Change.
