It's one of the owlflies (subfamily Ascalaphinae) and probably Suhpalacsa subtrahens

Thanks guys. I was having real trouble identifying it. I think I assumed it was some type of dragonfly but looking up your suggestions it is obviously a lacewing. So much to learn.
