User's notes

Spider likely 4mm - 7mm. Unknown Thing it is attacking is about 10 -15mm. What type of spider is it? Feel free to mention thoughts on it's prey too. Was on underside of a Mallow leaf

Not sure who is the prey here. The spider is a lynx spider which moves very quickly while the other is an assassin bug (possibly the orange assign bug) which stabs its victims with its mouth parts and sucks the juices out of them. It also injects venom. I think the winner would depend on whether or not the spider can sink its fangs into the bug.

The spider was moving at the time if i remember, & the bug not much, or at all - even after a few hours - so I think the spider won!
