At this location, this species is growing in semi-shade locations under young gum trees or other shrubs. It grows as a Sprawling plant in dense mats. Seems to prefer a specific micro-habitat, which are quite widely separated (10's of meters) here. Possibly the rainy conditions over past few months have favoured this species. Other than dew / rain this location is not really boggy / wet. Overall good and rapid drainage conditions for this area of several 100 sq metres. First time I have sighted this species in Mt Majura Park.
Max let's discuss onsite what I mean with seepage - I saw the species during wet seasons in similar situations on mt Majura for instance southeast and uphill of helms place / Richard Street Hackett.
