ID as Black Rat, rather than Brown Rat or Bush Rat, based on: pointed muzzle, white underside, no elongated posthallucal pad, longish tail and longish ears. More confident ID as R. rattus would be possible if tail could be seen to be clearly longer than head and body and if ear lobe could be pressed forward past the mid-point of the eye.
