Growing out of the cracks in pavers (how come there are two listings for Star Cudweed on CNM, this one and Euchiton sphaericus?)

They are two different species, and can be difficult to tell apart. The main differences between them (see Flora of NSW) are shown below:
Euchiton sphaericus: Annuals; individual heads [within the inflorescence] mostly 1–2 mm diam., with a single bisexual floret [flower] per head.
Euchiton involucratus: Stoloniferous perennials; individual heads ([within the inflorescence] 2–4 mm diam., with 3 or more bisexual florets [flowers] per head.
The plant in your photo looks to be a perennial; the only way to 100% sure it is E. involucratus is to dissect the inflorescence and measure the size of the individual flower heads.
