growing in dense grass-sedge beside small creek. The last photo was a puzzle: it seemed to be the same plant but if so what is it ?

The last photo shows a fertile frond. If the stipes have black scales, that confirms B. cartligineum. I'm not quite sure. It might just be B. nudum.

***However....The second last photo is a different fern, almost certainly a Blechnum watsii.
