A. ocellata is the only Anthelidae species out of the 22 species for which the caterpillar photos have been published, that has the two rows of pink verrucae like this specimen, but this specimen does look unusually pale for that species. It is possible that out of the other 52 Anthela species, more may also have that feature. I do wish people who find caterpillars would rear them to the adult moth so that we would know things like this.
