Probably this is Potamogeton sulcatus, rather than P. cheesemanii: but to be certain, need to see the inflorescence clearly.
When the plant is out in the water, and rather distant to photograph, it can be worthwhile searching the shoreline for recent broken-off bits (especially after a windy day): photos of intact inflorescences: would help for a confident ID.
P. sulcatus has bigger leaves and more flowers/fruits on the inflorescence.
