this is the same plant as in https://canberra.naturemapr.org/sightings/4359975 photographed in 2020. 4 plants were seen in this locality and a small sample taken for id by a botanist.
Returned 5 Feb 2022 and took small root sample - plant at that stage completely dried.
This strongly resembles Senecio campylocarpus, which leaves just slightly broader than Senecio Senecio quadridentatus and cottony hairs on both upper and lower leaf surfaces. The leaves also remains entire.
