Can you please give an estimate as to the width and length of the leaves and width of the pod?

Will try to get back there to-day for actual measurements: not confident that estimates from memory would be reliable.

Pod width is 11-12 mm.

Leaves are quite variable:
In the main photo (of a bush without pods), leaves are 20-21 mm long (max) ad about 16 mm wide at mix point. But on the bushes branches heavy with pods, the leaves are quite a bit smaller, only 7-8 mm long, and about 4-5 mm wide. The very young leaves have a reddish tinge.

leaves are slightly assymetrical: there is a faint main vein, which is not central. There is a gland very close to the petiole, on adaxial margin. (It doesn't work if I try to add these to the above set of photos, so will e-mail you separately).

I think it may be Acacia sertiformis - @RWPurdie what do you think?

Thanks Michael

I encoutered these wattles myself on a walk a couple of weeks ago, I thought they looked unusual so I sent the pictures I took to someone from my ever growing list of contacts who has helped me with wattle IDs in the past. He was happy to call these A.buxifolia, but said that he wasn't sure which subsp they might be. I think these were planted orginally, but now appear to be self-seeding, so they are probably unlikely to be the A.buxifolia that we have locally.
