User's notes

Pretty excited. I thought this hollow had been abandoned, but today I was surprised to see a female come out of the hollow to check my wanderings, then go back in. Half an hour or so later, a male loudly proclaimed his presence, then sat quietly in a tree branch close to hollow, before flying to hollow, disappearing down, and then female emerged and flew off to tree branch. A change over!

Great news - but I think that means we have pairs breeding 6 weeks apart - which is pretty interesting
