The very yellow flowers and the location is a good fit for D. nigromontana. D. pardina is typically darkly blotched and doesn't seem to occur around Black Mountain.

D. nigromontana seems to be extremely variable in markings, shape and colour if these are D. nigromontana! There were many plants that were obviously D. nigromontana and these looked very different from the above plant with many dark markings and much narrower pointier petals. They were also quite a bit larger. This was quite a small delicate looking plant which was not as upright. Could it be a hybrid?
