At a risk of making the same comment, these ones look like proper hybrids to me, something with chryseopsis and maybe pardina or goonooensis (if that's what it is).
Haha. These ones I agree. I suspect they are hybrids of the unknown Diurus and D pardina. I found them at the edge of the area of the location where the mystery ones are and D.pardina only a single plant cluster. Look inbetween on size and markings.
