User's notes

Yellow flowered herbaceous, reminds me of a " forget me not" in terms of growth habit ? This is a new sighting for me, flowers have a slightly spiky Burr like base / ovary. Each flower is small, a few mm diameter (petals). Flower stem is distinctly Hairy. Leaves elongate / oval about 5cm long. Shady location, meadow below Gum trees.

OK, thanks Michael,so that was good guess....It's an exotic but does not appear to be invasive ?? Only a few isolated plants here, wonder how they got here ? What's the dispersal mechanism for this species ?
