Although there are quite a few records from Coolamon Ridge this location is 170m from the next nearest recorded location. @willo I assume the area was surveyed in the past - could this be a sign of local range expansion?

Hi Michael - Yes this is a good record. In 2014 we mapped that location as moderate quality habitat. The area below the water ditch and fire break trail (ie near the houses) was surveyed and quite a few Aprasia were found along there. We did not survey upslope of the trail at this location so this is a good addition to the data set for Cooleman Ridge.

I’m so glad it was useful. I promise not to turn too many rocks around there looking for more 😬

Thanks for reporting the record - they all help very much with building up important information on distribution and for identifying sites that might need greater protection. Yes, moving stones can be quite disturbing to the PTWL's as they have to manage to get back down that small burrow (in the ant nest under the stone). They come up to bask "under" the underside of the stone on sunny days in spring and early summer.
