I have uploaded some photos of the general habitat to sightings 4388653 and 4388652. It's basically thick kangaroo grass with some other herbs and most of the grasshoppers seemed to be centered around the young eucalypt tree. As I walked away from the tree the numbers tapered off. The records are from the Lions Youth Haven side of the fence and I didn't go over into the Reserve to check.

Thanks Helen,

Good to see such detailed habitat pictures, especially the presence of the Chrysopcephalum among the Themeda. We do have some records from the actual Murrumbidgee Corridor reserve not far away Hope to get out there when the lockdown is over.

Thanks Roger, it's close to my residence so I can keep checking the area during my daily exercise allowance

I was wondering how you got there during lockdown!! Very handy. Keep up the good work.

Another observation worth pursuing, if you have the time, is checking on the different colour morphs of Keyacris. You had a picture of the 'green sides' and the 'grey' but there is also 'all green' and 'brown'.
