Posting separately to show more interaction detail. After weeding I noticed two jumping spiders on my green waste bin. An hour later there were nine but one was being consumed by another. Photo five (actually the first photo taken) shows the prey spider even though it may look different. In photo four another spider appeared over the top of the bin lid, then presumably seeing a spider being consumed, immediately jumped off the bin and was last seen dangling by a thread close to the ground. I think all spiders bar one were Opisthoncus grassator but some had different markings so will report them separately. For logistical reasons, this sighting is only for the predator as there was a second spider that had markings similar to the prey spider.
