User's notes

At least 79 birds in the area at the moment. The most I've ever seen here. Perhaps attracted by the privet hedges the neighbour across the road has down his fenceline, One even found a grub in the leaf litter on top of the chimney. Also, at least one begging juvenile though two birds refused to feed it.

An interesting observation and unusually high count.

They seem to be mostly gone today, but perhaps just taking a break from the rain.

Plenty in Isaacs Pines but near impossible to count. They have over-wintered here for several years.

The birds have gone today and so are all the berries. Actually, while he does have privet hedges, the berries were mostly on the ivy growing along a long stretch of his fence beside a laneway. (Just the few usuals left.)
