part of the left wing on one of the swans was hanging down and looked damaged. We notified ACT Wildlife about it.
Location is where the Swan with the damaged wing was.
We were just advised by ACT Wildlife that they were able to catch the female Swan with the damaged wing. Unfortunately she had multiple serious problems and was severely underweight and had to be put to sleep so she would not suffer any longer. So we are glad she is no longer suffering but very sad that her mate has lost his partner. We thanked them very much at the ACT Wildlife for all the good they are doing for the animals. They really are wonderful.
@MatthewFrawley Thanks Matthew, yes sad outcome but at least she won't be suffering any more. They do a wonderful job at ACT Wildlife and it was so nice of them to ring back and let us know.
