These seem to hang onto soil or collect dust. They thus end up being in slightly raised mounds. Most are more or less circular or irregularly ovoid. The black spots tend to form darker circles towards the outer edges. In Dryandra Street Woodland they are found in the open on compacted, usually heavily disturbed soils.
