Family Oxychilidae. Invasive species from Europe. A major pest as it feeds on native snails and has invaded some bushland areas. Emits a strong garlic or onion-like smell when disturbed.

Yes, a major invasive pest species in southern Australia. May be responsible for the extinction of some native species in SW Western Australia
