User's notes

Is this bird healthy? It seems to be degenerating or moulting? It has tamed us to bring food on demand perhaps weekly, husked sunflower kernels. Usually it looks very healthy.

Possibly moulting, those white bits are the feather sheaths which protect the feather as it is regrowing.

Thanks I hope so. I didn't mention it seemed to have trouble swallowing, stretching its neck vertically and gulping. Otherwise it appeared to be ok.
