The next stage for the caterpillars from sighting 4370524 - eggs laid on 6th Feb, Sighting 4373555 - hatched 15th Feb, they spread out over several leaves and ate the surface of the leaves. By 25th Feb they've all dispersed or been eaten by a spider which set up a web on the same leaves.
Known to feed on a variety of plant; From the point of view of moths study it could have been (Lepidoptera Butterfly House): Cobblers Pegs ( Bidens pilosa, ASTERACEAE ), Sunflowers ( Helianthus annuus, ASTERACEAE), Dandelion ( Taraxacum officinale, ASTERACEAE ), Hollyhocks ( Alcea rosea, MALVACEAE ), Plantains ( Plantago species, PLANTAGINACEAE ), and Roses ( Rosa odorata, ROSACEAE ). I'm not sure its any ot those from the photo. An experienced botanist may be able to suggest matching leaves.. Given the suburbam location a plant from Malvaceae family seems likely.
I think it would be good to add these photos, and those of 4373555, and photos of future instars and behaviour, to sighting 4370524, rather than having them separate sightings.
