This moth was quite a bit bigger than P. leucopelta which is described as having a wing span of 1.5cm. It was at least twice the size of a Macrobathra desmotoma nearby

OK: I see upturned labial palps in your 4th photo, so I guess it is Gelechioidea, and the largest of those are in Xyloryctidae, but I cannot find any of those with that wing pattern.

P. habrophanes is quite variable in fw pattern. Is this a maximally dark one?
