Significant sighting

SuziBond noted:

7 Feb 2021

An occasional migrant with few ACT records

User's notes

For a few minutes it was courtship flying with a white butterfly of similar size with less black on wings (larger than a Cabbage White), but I did not get a good view of the second one.

Suzi - Thank you for your kind comments. I think the same individual was back in the garden today, and have added a sighting from early afternoon (4370537). Two hours later, probably the same butterfly was resting in the shade, only it had a big tear in its wings, so I put it in as a separate sighting in case (4370538). It was a great day for butterflies here in Hughes, and I have uploaded one I think could be a Pale Triangle, but not sure as I have not seen one before (4370528). John Bundock kindly pointed out that CNM has a wildly incorrect time of day for my yesterday's sighting (and all the others I uploaded from both my smart phone and camera), so I have reported this. Many thanks, Jacky
