No thanks that's plenty. I've been trying to find something that was doing this weird thing with grass for a year or so now. Your genus gave the key.

They are wonderful. I like the grass flying through my garden. They hunt crickets for their brood and feed on nectar for their own fuel.
If you have a bee/wasp hotel: the new emerging bees and wasps including Isodontia will be learning the place where they are born, will perform a learning flight before their first trip and females will come back to inspect potential nest sites, so you would need to extend the hotel complex.
