I can't see the symbol on my map but zooming in gives the right spot - a dried-out pond in what used to be a nice water feature with a stream and stepping stones.

Yes, it is a few metres higher than the ornamental pools beside the lake. It was an artificial stream that ran down to the pool and it would be nice if National Capital Authority got it working again.
