I don't hink this matches either Endotricha ignealis or E. pyrosalis. There a are some ;'Éndotricha' sp.. on ALA which are sililar, but I have not found a good match there, i.e the outer forewing line { there are three forewing lines in total) meets the costa almost one third along its length.

I too was using the sinuous shape of the forewing costa as a strong indicator, but have wondered at times whether there is a second species within our E. pyrosalis.

This moth has long palps extending forward which I don't see on the E. pyrosalis examples on the ALA. There are no pictures there showing as much hindwing, but I don't think the hindwings match very well either.

It's not in Endotricha or the other Pyralinae. It's probably a Spilomelinae.

Yes, I have been looking at Metasia too. I thought Metasia dicealis was a possibility, perhaps the hindwing colour fades with time.

Yes, looks a good match with what I can see on Bold Systems 4, although the set specimens there are faded.
