I've come back to this several times but am still uncertain. While I can see pattern similarities with E. fulvida, the wings seem to be much narrower than for that species (see the iNat photos). It seems to have the shape of a Chloroclystis species, but I can't pattern match it to any of the locally known species (although there are plenty of other more obscure ones).

The apparent narrowness of the wing could be a foreshortening effect if the the plane of the surface was not normal to the direction of the camera.

A big discrepancy is the substantial pattern on, and scalloped margin of, the hindwings.

I don't think there was much foreshortening distortion.

Regarding my earlier comment about wing shape, it's a sex difference. CNM has two males and two females now.

I am thinking there are strong similarities with Chrysolarentia plesia - especially the overall shape and scalloped hindwing and forewing margins- although the match of wing patterning not as convincing -although similar.

Chrysolarentia plesia doesn't seem to have the submarginal white spots on both wings that seem consistent on E. fulvida
