A new species to CNM. A mainly sub-tropical and triopical family (Lecithoceridae).

How does one distinguish Lecithocera terrigena from Achoria inopina ?

Suggestion: L. terrigena has robust, thick looking, yellow palps whereas A.inopina's palps are finer and darker coloured?

I'm reasonably confident that this is Lecithocera terrigena, regularly recorded in the ACT, although there are two other groups present in the ACT that are similar in different ways and are thought to be unnamed species. Achoria inopa is a very small and delicate Lecithoceridae mainly from more northern coastal areas. See also 4362865.
