Having looked at ALA and iNaturalist we think that this could be Meranoplus minor

Hi Roger, Meranoplus is a related genus, but this is Podomyrma adelaidae. The combination of the swollen "muscles" on the legs and the pair of pale marks on the front of the gaster is pretty diagnostic. More information and pictures are available at AntWiki.
