I not know whether the caterpillar of P. sinistraria has an instar which has on the head that pair of red crests, each with a black and white wart. Alison: have you reared one and observed that ?

Sorry Don, I thought this was the same as one you identified as P. sinistraria. I have one in protective custody so hopefully it will mature into a moth.

No worries. I wonder whether the white spots on the black warts are just highlights from the lighting on a shiny surface. Alison: what do you reckon ?
