Private property. No public access without permission. Possibly same as sighting #4352303. Similar size. Also had a drink from our pond.

So good to see all these Rosenberg's out at your place - they are a wonderful feature (and indicator) of the rich woodland fauna that you have been detecting there. Chicken/rabbit wire can sometimes be problem for lizards (and snakes) that manage to squeeze part way through.

Thanks for the lovely comments and reminder about the wire. This area isn't enclosed and the short section of "fence" was put there to stop the roos stomping over new plants to get to pond at the time - we can probably remove it now. For all our enclosed areas we have used a fine gauge mesh - about the only thing that can get through would be the skinks (who are also very welcome). :)

Thanks for letting me know - I thought perhaps that the goanna had been trying to get through it - i can see now that it is a short section - i doubt it would harm anything as they can easily walk past it. Cheers, Will
