Interesting that the forewing underside coloured patches are not being displayed. If you find a another one, perhaps you could check if it will display them when frightened. As the upper surfaces of the hindwings are plain, perhaps the hindwing undersides are only displayed in flight, to deter flying predators.
Moths of Victorias say A. lasiocamparia probably includes several differing but similar species. They also say the hindwings may be purplish grey or orange instead.
