This looks like it's a tufted perennial, so can't be Centrolepis strigosa as it's an annual. I'd guess it's either a grass or sedge.

I suspect not - it doesn't really fit the leaf description in the Flora of NSW (in C. fascicularis the leaf lamina is "glabrous or with scattered hairs"; the laminas in your photo are distinctly hairy along the margins).

I'm not sure if Rytidosperma carphoides can be this hairy, just a suggestion.
