One pair started inspecting tree 51 around 8.15am, with both sexes doing some cleaning and the female entering the hollow. She also flew to two nearby hollows for a quick look, then back again. Around 8.50am another pair flew directly to the hollow and the first pair flew off to another hollow across the gully. This new pair quickly looked in the hollow and the male flew to a nearby tree with the female continuing to look in the hollow. After a few minutes they flew off further up the hill.
