On page 2/2 for M. oriochares on their supporting disc for part 3 Moths of Victoria outline fairly consistent identification features for this species (although variable). They are 1. sharp black point (i.e. alongside second outer pale curved line) of forewing; 2. dark border along hind margin of forewing, and; 3. shape an position of inner pale curved line of forewing. I think this specien matches well the overall wing papttern for this species and the features 1. and 3., 9 see above). The ''sharp b;ack point' feature is clear and not present on the other Microdes species.

I believe this is Microdes sp4 MoV, multiple photos were taken by several people on that night.
