Sorry I should have added more context. I agree that the photograph is poor but I did not identify the bird on the basis of the photograph. The Olive Whistler had been seen in the same vicinity shortly earlier that morning by Alister Smith. I did have better views of the bird in the scrub but my camera would not focus because of surrounding vegetation. The bird had the same call as recorded by Alister. I have seen and photographed Olive Whistlers on three occasions this year. It had Olive brown underparts and olive green above, a grey head and white throat. I am very familiar with Golden Whistlers and. I Am confident that this was an Olive Whistler.

Alastair's photos are pretty conclusive. However, a rather atypical location for one.
