From what I understand, this plant needs to be removed.
I'm not sure on the protocol here, do I leave it to the volunteer group that looks after Bruce ridge, should I contact someone, or can I just go up there again with a shovel?

Best time to control is in spring using herbicide - metsulfuron methyl. It has a large rhizome-like root system - so if dug out this must be removed. Job has been added to ACT Parks - Invasive Plants Program for spring.

Thanks for the sighting, great to be able to get on top of this weed before it becomes an unmanageable problem
