User's notes

I was really puzzled by these flies. There were many flies on the plants so I haven't attempted to count numbers according to species just concentrating on these specimens. All specimens were dead (or appeared to be empty shells). The fly in photos 1 & 4 seems to have what appear to be three dimensional bands around its body. The one in photo 2 also appears to have a trace of these bands, while the other three didn't have the bands. Am hoping for an explanation.
