Yellow-rumped Thornbills used to be very common here when we first moved in but I hadn't seen any for years until a pair moved back in after the recent rains and are now a regular sight in our small bird flocks. They were foraging on the ground and flew into the trees when disturbed (by Kangaroos not me).
