User's notes

Feathered antennae would suggest that these are Ectropis calida rather than Ectropis excursaria. Hindwing main line is straight, at least in the first specimen. Main forewing line is a bit dubious in that there is a strong kink.

Despite the longish pectinations on the antennae, I'm not sure they are long enough for E. calida, although I'm not familiar with that species. Certainly I would have thought the kink in the forewing is too strong for E. calida. There is a step just visible in the hindwing main line too, suggesting E. excursaria.
