Suillus is an introduced species in Australia and those that are present here are mycorrhizal fungi in association with exotic conifers (Pinus species). The location as shown on Google images does not seems to show any pine trees in the area. It may be Phlebopus marginatus or a look a like if there are no pines in the area.
Ken - Thanks, there are no pines or other conifers anywhere nearby. They are in box gum woodland, well away from gardens, in an open sunny grassy area near a red gum (I think). Jacky
