User's notes

Not sure if these are the same species. Photos 1-3, bee waking up (seen roosting on three mornings). Photo 4 same bee seeking honey. Photo 5 is a different bee. On all three mornings the last bee was already active well before the first bee woke up; also seemed larger than sleeping bee and today, still active at 6:30 pm even after all European bees had gone to sleep. Interesting to watch bee waking up as it intermittently clung by front legs and twisted its body round. Then moved round plant stem to put its back to the sun. Took over two hours till it took flight. Also have video.

Last bee may be Amegilla (Notomegilla) chlorocyanea
