The leaf of this plant had short hairs, which was smooth with E. magenteus found in Brindabella NP in comparison

The leaves of local plants are sometimes hairy like this and sometimes smooth.

Thanks for your comment Cath, I'll keep on looking for other flowers and check the leaves, though they seem to be low on numbers on Black Mountain this season..
