Actinus are tropical, and in Australia occur only in north-east Qld. They are larger (and generally more brightly coloured) than Hesperus. The ALA records of 'Actinus' in NSW and ACT are almost certainly wrongly identified.

Thanks for posting his information Kim. I'd posted a photo of this species on ALA wrongly placed, and was able to note that on the record.
