This little fella had an unsuccessful first fledging and was found by a passerby who took him to the local vet, who put it on their facebook site. I realised it was from the hollow I had been monitoring. Recovered him from the carer. Took him back to the tree where Don placed him back on the hollow where he was successfully reunited with his parents. Just before dark his mum pushed him off his perch on top of the hollow in an effort to get him to fledge. Then Mum Dad and son flew almost 100m to a nearby tree. This chick could now lead a normal Gang gang life. Special thanks to Don Fletcher for his climbing and catching skills. Sequence of photos chick in box on way back to hollow, back on hollow, reunited with parents, mum pushing son off perch and dad with him after maiden successful flight
