Michael Mulvaney has had this plant identified by the CSIRO hebarium as Dianella longifolia “Benamba” a locally rare species. Sadly the thicker flower spikes and buds on the adjoining plant were eaten by kangaroos before they had opened so we were unable to identify the other plant.

Images 2 and 3 are of the thicker stemmed plant with larger more tightly packed buds before they were eaten by the roos. They are not the same plant as the adjoining Dianella longifolia "Benamba" taken by Micheal Mulvaney for identification.
