The second photo is of a gall, possibly caused by a growing wasp larva.

Perhaps Acacia stricta. I need excellent photos of stems and unchewed leaves to be certain. With wattles, a clear photo of a flower bud is useful so that an approximate count of the flowers in the head can be made.
